PRIVACY POLICY
Rhea Productions, LLC (DBA ‘Actor Empowered’)
By visiting www.actorempowered.com (the “Site”), you are consenting to this Privacy Policy.

Defined Terms

Company — Rhea Productions, LLC (DBA ‘Actor Empowered’)
Website / Site — www.actorempowered.com
Privacy Officer — Zele Avradopoulos
“We,” “Us,” and “Our” refer to the Company. “You” and “Your” refer to visitors and users of the Site.
The Company processes personal data as a Controller as defined by the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data We Collect and How We Use It

Most actions you take on the Website relay certain information about you to the Company. We collect data directly from you when you fill out a form, make a purchase, or communicate with us via email or social media. We may also collect data about you from third parties such as our payment processors, advertising networks, and analytics providers.

Contact Information

When you fill out our “Contact” form or make a purchase, we collect the information you provide so we can communicate with you and/or ship you physical products. This may include your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. If you've given us your physical address, we may occasionally send promotional items, like stickers.
If you connect your social media account, we may use that information to view your social media, which can tell us who you follow, who follows you, and your likes or interests. Your privacy settings for social media can be adjusted through your social media provider's settings menu.
Financial / Customer Information
When you make a purchase, we collect your billing address and payment information in order to process the transaction and supply the product or service. The legal basis for this processing is your consent and the performance of a contract with you. We do not retain your financial information ourselves — it is processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Review Stripe's privacy policy for details on how they handle your information.
Profile and Usage Information
When you fill out a form or make a purchase, we create a profile to identify you and, where applicable, provide access to any digital product purchased. As you navigate the Website, your browser relays information we use to optimize the Site, improve user experience, and make business decisions.
This usage data may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, general geographic location, page views, navigation paths, device specifications, and how often and how you use the Website. We use session analytics software to see what pages you click on and how long you stay there. This helps us improve user experience, evaluate our advertising, and make our content more accessible. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in monitoring and improving our Website, marketing, and services.
We currently use the following analytics providers:
  • AttractWell
  • Google Analytics
An IP address is a unique identifier that can reveal general information about your location — for example, connecting via a coffee shop's WiFi may tell an analytics tool you are at that coffee shop. We do not directly collect your location, but nearby smart devices with advertiser permissions could allow advertisers to infer it. We may also use this data to understand your device preferences.

Marketing and Advertising

Email is central to how we communicate with you, and we take care to keep it confidential. We will ask permission before sending promotional material via an “opt-in” checkbox clearly stating your consent. We do not sell or exchange your email for remuneration. When we partner with third parties for joint education, resources, products, or services, your participation constitutes consent for us to share the relevant information you provided with that third party.
The data described above may be used to send you marketing communications about our business or products. The legal basis for this processing is either your consent or our legitimate interest in growing our business. You may opt out at any time using the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email or by contacting us at support@actorempowered.com.
This data may also be used to deliver advertisements to you, including via Facebook Ads and Instagram, and to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in growing our business through marketing.
Our emails comply with applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act. Each email identifies the Company and includes an unsubscribe option. If our systems fail to process an unsubscribe request, please contact the Privacy Officer directly. Unsubscribing removes you from routine promotional and informational emails, but you may still receive information related to programs, services, or products you've already purchased.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We share your information with trusted third parties who help run the Website (including any blog or newsletter) and administer our business — for example, payment processors, administrative and marketing providers, and business advisors. Your data is never shared with unrelated third parties in exchange for remuneration. We may also disclose your information if we sell or transfer part of the Company, to enforce our terms, to work with third parties such as lawyers or collection agencies, or where otherwise legally required. Third parties we share data with are required to keep it secure and to respect your privacy, and we take steps to confirm they comply with the GDPR.

Anti-Spam Policy

We comply with applicable anti-spam laws. If you opt in to our newsletter, marketing, or other communications, an unsubscribe option is included in every email. If we sell or transfer any part of our business or assets, certain Customer information may be included as part of that transaction. If such a sale or transfer results in a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you.

Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Signals

A cookie is a piece of information recorded by your web browser that allows it to recognize places you've visited. For more on cookies, see the Federal Trade Commission's guide at ftc.gov. We will ask your permission before using non-essential cookies, and our Site includes a ‘Reject All Unnecessary Cookies’ button as well as a Cookie Settings button so you can manage your preferences.
Cookies help the Site recognize you (for example, auto filling user IDs or remembering preferences). A pixel (or beacon) is a transparent image file that tells us something has been viewed or clicked. Cookies and pixels may communicate the web browser you use, whether you opened an email we sent, your advertising ID, and other technical information about your device. We use this information to implement advertising strategies and to ensure our servers and systems are working properly.
You can instruct your browser to reject cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies, including via a “Do Not Track” signal, though the Website may not function properly as a result. There is no uniform Do Not Track standard, so our Site may not be able to read or respond correctly to every signal.

Payment

When you make a purchase, your financial information is transmitted to a third-party payment processor. We use payment processors that adhere to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council's standards. Our current payment processor is:
Stripe

We also accept Venmo and Zelle for payment under certain circumstances.

Data Security and Breach Response
We use reputable, reliable third-party vendors and industry-standard, reasonable methods to protect your information. If you work with us in a one-on-one capacity, we may collect additional information (such as work history) necessary to provide consulting services, using a separate reputable third-party platform designed for that purpose.

We limit access to your personal data to employees, contractors, and service providers who need it to perform necessary business functions, and we use secure password managers and platforms to manage that access where possible.
Should a potential data breach occur, we have procedures to identify the breach, determine its scope, and make any reports or notifications required by law. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your information.
You acknowledge that personal information you voluntarily share online could be accessed or intercepted by a third party without our knowledge, and that we are not responsible for information intercepted in this manner.

Data Retention and Destruction

We keep your Contact Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, as required by law, or as necessary to enforce legal agreements and resolve disputes. We keep Profile Information only as long as necessary for these purposes. In some cases, data may be anonymized for research purposes and used indefinitely. Aside from information we're required to retain for legal purposes, you may ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting the Privacy Officer.

International Transfers

Your personal data may be processed and stored in countries outside your own, including the United States, where some of our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area to a country without an adequacy decision from the European Commission, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, a provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You may request information about the safeguards applied to a specific transfer by contacting us at support@actorempowered.com.

Your Rights (European Union and Other Jurisdictions)

The GDPR governs information and privacy rights for people within the European Union; the rights below apply to the extent required by applicable law. We will retain information you provide until the earlier of: (a) your request that we delete it, (b) our decision to cease using our existing data providers, or (c) our determination that the value of retaining the data is outweighed by the cost of doing so.
You have the right to request access to the data we store about you, to rectify or erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority with jurisdiction over GDPR matters.
We only require the information reasonably necessary to enter into a contract with you, and we will not require consent to unnecessary processing as a condition of that contract.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information, online or offline, from children under the age of 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under 18, you may only use the Website with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who should read this Privacy Policy. If you, or your parent or guardian, believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Privacy Officer so we can delete it. In some circumstances the law may not require or permit deletion; we will make every effort to remove the information but cannot guarantee comprehensive removal.

Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to other websites that we do not control. Visiting those sites subjects you to their privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. This Privacy Policy covers only information we collect on this Site.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you either through the email address you've provided or by placing a prominent notice on the Website. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
